Meet The Team

Dr. David Sorial

Dr David Sorial’s passion for dentistry, commitment to excellence, and dedication to continuing education are just a few of the reasons he is the optimal dentist for you and your family.

Dr.Sorial attended The University of Toronto for his undergraduate studies. He went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago Illinois.

Dr. Sorial is a board certified general dentist with licensure in the State of Michigan, Illinois, Florida and in the Province of Ontario. He is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

With a passion for implant dentistry, Dr. Sorial completed his surgical and prosthetic fellowship with the Misch International Implant Institute and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists(ICOI).

Dr. Sorial has completed the Faculty for Orthodontic Research and Continuing Education Advanced Post Graduated Program for general dentists. He also is Invisalign Certified. In addition, Dr. Sorial has completed a two year Orthodontic Seminar Series for General Dentists with Progressive Orthodontics.

Dr. Sorial works closely with local sleep medicine physicians to treat patients with obstructive sleep apnea. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

In 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017,2018, 2019, 2020, 2021,2022 ,2023 and 2024 Dr David Sorial was honored in HOUR Magazine as a Top Dentist, based on the judgement of his peers.

In his spare time Dr. Sorial loves to spend his time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys photography, golf, fishing, skiing and travel.

Dr. Eric Steiner

Dr. Eric Steiner is a graduate of The University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. He has practiced in Metro Detroit for over 15 years. Dr. Steiner keeps his patients comfortable and entertained while providing conservative, prevention and exemplary restorative care. He belongs to the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Oakland Dental Society. He lives in Royal Oak with his wife and two children. When he is not saving teeth, he enjoys cycling, golf, the Marvel Universe and Michigan's great outdoors.

Dr. Birnholtz took care of me my whole life. I moved to California and saw a new dentist. He told me I needed to have eight fillings done. I called Dr. Birnholtz and made an appointment with him to see if that was possible. I flew back to Farmington Hills from California to see Dr. Birnholtz. He checked the xrays and performed an exam. I was joining the Peace Corp and prior to my entrance I had to have my teeth checked. They offered a free screening visit with their dentist. He determined that I needed five fillings. I restored one tooth that day. I was so uncomfortable that I went home to have Dr. Birnholtz check the work performed and to determine if the other teeth needed restorations. He fixed the filling that was done and determined that none of the other proposed work was indicated.
